Goza provides a subscription-based car plan designed specifically for Didi and other rideshare drivers in Australia. Drivers sign a subscription agreement, not a finance or loan contract.

You pay a single weekly subscription fee that covers*:

  1. A) Vehicle access (rideshare-ready car)
  2. B) Registration, CTP, Rideshare licence/inspections, Scheduled servicing, and replacement tyres and brakes due to wear^
  3. C) Rideshare-specific loss and damage cover (for certain Goza Drive contracts from 1 October 2025 you can opt instead to obtain your own eligible Rideshare insurance should you wish) with optional replacement vehicle provision.

Goza offers two flexible vehicle plans to suit your needs:

Goza Drive – Designed for drivers who need access to better vehicles with lower upfront pressure, weekly payment options and a clear pathway to vehicle ownership.

GOZA Flex - Designed for customers who need quality vehicles without the pressure of long-term ownership or residual value risk.

*Subject to the terms of your Goza Drive/GOZA Flex agreement. Servicing and maintenance subject to applicable caps. Additional fees may apply.

Signing up is simple:

  1. Enquire online through the Goza website, and one of our experts will call you
  2. Book an appointment at your local Goza hub to test drive and finalise sign-up
  3. Provide required documents (driver’s licence, proof of Didi account, proof of address)
  4. Review and sign your quote
  5. Review and sign the subscription agreement (we recommend you obtain independent legal advice before signing)
  6. Pick up your car once available and approved and start driving.

You will need to provide documents to prove your identity:

  • Full Australian driving licence (front and back)
  • Second proof of address less than 90 days old (e.g. utility bill, bank statement)
  • Second proof of ID (e.g. medicare card, passport, birth certificate, citizenship certificate)
  • Proof of Didi account if applicable (screenshot of your profile)

Goza will confirm any additional details required depending on vehicle eligibility requirements.

Goza collects and uses personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy available on its website.

Here’s a full run-down of costs for our Goza Drive agreement.

Up-front:

  • One-off setup fee of $990 for new cars and $495 for pre-owned cars

At onboarding:

  • Pro-rata charge for remainder of first week
  • First weekly fee (billed one week in advance)

Weekly fee includes:

  • Vehicle rental
  • Registration & CTP
  • Scheduled servicing (up to 180,000 km)*
  • Replacement tyres & brakes due to wear*

Optional extras:

  • Payout Protection Fee may apply (see Additional Fees for more details)
  • Loss and Damage cover (and optional replacement vehicle inclusion)*. Additional charges may occur if Loss and Damage cover taken out for driving >1,000km per week^
  • Loss and Damage Waiver Reduction Fee (reduces payable Loss and Damage Waiver in the event of an accident - See Additional Fees for more details)

Not included:

  • Fuel/charging, rideshare platform fees, tolls, fines and other fees and charges.

No. Goza does not issue consumer credit. Plan fees are subscription-style and charged one week in advance.

Goza offers a wide range of rideshare-ready vehicles (new and pre-owned), including EVs, Hybrids and selected ICE vehicles. Models may be suitable for Didi categories like Premier, Max, XL, Comfort Electric, Comfort, or Green. You can browse the current range of available cars on the Goza site.

Yes. Your Goza car must be used wholly or predominantly for rideshare work, with incidental personal use allowed. For extended personal trips (e.g. road trips), contact Customer Service to discuss arrangements.

Yes. You can nominate your partner or another relative living at the same address as a second driver. If you take out our optional Loss and Damage cover, you will be charged an additional fee of $20/week (incl. GST). They must live at the same address, be 25+, and pass Goza’s loss and damage checks. They may drive for personal use only. The primary driver is the only person permitted to use the car on Didi or other rideshare platforms.

Ultimately vehicle use must still be wholly or predominantly for business use.

Refer another Didi driver or other rideshare driver to Goza. If they use your referral code when enquiring and sign up to a Goza Drive plan, subject to Goza's reasonable requirements:

  • You receive $250 Goza credit
  • They receive $250 credit if it’s a Goza Drive EV, or $50 credit if it’s a non-EV

It’s not insurance – it is our Loss and Damage Cover, whereby we indemnify our customers for any loss of, and damage to, the vehicle, during the Term. We also indemnify the customer for all property damage arising out of the use of the vehicle, up to a maximum of $10m, during the Term.

  • Our Loss and Damage Cover is optional. However, if you do not take out our Loss and Damage Cover, you will be required to take out comprehensive rideshare insurance in accordance with the terms of the Flexi Own Agreement. You may also be liable for the Goza Management Fee. The Goza Management Fee is a small weekly fee of ($35 incl GST) for Goza to manage and administer the relationship between the you, Goza, and your third party insurer (if you have one). This fee is waived if you elect to take out Loss & Damage Cover with Goza and in certain other circumstances.
  • However, Loss and Damage Cover is subject to various exclusions, similar to similar loss and damage product offered by rental car companies, such as:
    • Where you have driven the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or where the damage to the vehicle was occasioned by a breach of road rules
    • You should check the terms of the Flexi Own Agreement to check the exclusions and to consider whether the Loss and Damage Cover is right for you
  • The Loss and Damage Cover is also subject to various rules, such as the requirement to notify Goza of any accident within 24 hours. Again, these requirements are clearly set out in the Flexi Own Agreement and Goza’s customer service team is also happy to help.
  • From March 19, 2026, customers who take out Loss and Damage Cover may also opt to take out Goza’s Replacement Vehicle Inclusion, which is a small weekly fee, pursuant to which Goza will provide you with a replacement vehicle when needed, irrespective of fault. Terms and conditions are set out in the Flexi Own Agreement, and our friendly staff are always pleased to assist.

The Goza Management Fee is a small weekly fee of ($35 incl GST) for Goza to manage and administer the relationship between the you, Goza, and your third party insurer (if you have one). This fee is waived if you elect to take out Loss & Damage Cover with Goza, or if Goza otherwise waives the requirement.

The Loss and Damage Cover comprises the following costs*:

  • Loss and Damage Payment – this is an optional weekly payment and represents the “cost” of the coverage / indemnification we provide in the event of an accident or other loss - It is the price of the Loss and Damage Cover
  • Replacement Vehicle Inclusion - this is an optional weekly payment “add on” to the Loss and Damage Cover (which is part of, and increases your Loss and Damage Payment) to provide you with a replacement vehicle in the event of an accident or breakdown
  • Loss and Damage Waiver – this payment is $1,500 and is required for Goza to waive its rights to seek recovery from the customer in the event of damage or loss (subject to the terms and conditions of the Flexi Own Agreement) so that the customer can get the vehicle back on the road as soon as possible because Goza will handle the rest
  • Loss and Damage Waiver Reduction Fee – optional weekly payment, payable by the customer to Goza, which reduces the Loss and Damage Waiver payable by the event of an Accident

Ensure everyone is safe. If serious injuries, call 000 immediately. Then call Goza on 1300 000 000 and follow prompts to report an accident. All damage must be reported within 24 hours.

As our Loss and Damage Cover is not insurance, there is no excess payable however, a standard $1,500 Loss and Damage Waiver applies per claim. This allows Goza to indemnify you immediately and get you back on the road. For not-at-fault claims, the waiver may be partly or fully refunded if Goza recovers costs from the at-fault party.

  • For certain Flexi Own contracts from 1 October 2025, you can pay a weekly Loss and Damage Waiver Reduction Fee to reduce your waiver to as low as $500. See details here.

Yes — you can lower your accident cost from $1,500 to as little as $500.

  • The standard Loss and Damage Waiver is $1,500.
  • However, if you choose to pay the optional Loss and Damage Waiver Reduction Fee each week, this amount can be reduced to as low as $500.

Get in Touch

Our payment relief program delivers up to 4 weeks per year where you can pay a nominal sum of just $99 instead of your regular weekly payment. This may enable you to take a break from full time rideshare driving without having to worry about meeting your full payment. Payment Holidays are subject to the below eligibility criteria and the overall discretion of Goza. Payment holiday terms may change at any time.

During the payment holiday relief period you are limited to driving 200km during a single week.

  • Drivers become eligible for 2 weeks of payment holiday relief after they are 6 months in to a 4 year plan, or 12 months in to a 5 year plan. Every 6 months thereafter you can request another 2 weeks of payment holiday relief.
  • To be eligible for a Payment Holiday you need to have an average 4 week driver score of less than 9.0 and have not failed more than 1 payment in the previous 3 months*.
  • Please note: If you decide to return the vehicle before the end of your agreement, you will be required to pay back any payment relief amounts.
